The event, which will take place during the Easter school holidays on Thursday, April 20, will be held from 10am at the Baroona Youth Healing Place.
“We wanted to bring the Corroboree to Baroona to boost the connection between attendees and Country,” Njernda project worker Brody Atkinson said.
“Baroona is an important site for our mob and it’s an ideal place to showcase our culture.
“It was fantastic to bring this event back last year after COVID lockdowns, and we are hopeful it can continue to grow.”
The event is free and open to all members of the community. Activities on the day will include cultural walks, traditional dance and live music, painting and wildlife exhibits.
There will also be a barbecue lunch and giveaway tote bags available to those attending the event.
Baroona Youth Healing Place is on Braund Rd near Echuca, and transport to the event is available.
A free bus shuttle will be running from the Njernda Youth Hub on Annesley St at 9.15am and at 9.40am.
