ECHUCA CUP RACE DAY

Autumn racing: Moama couple Jodie and Laurie Egan were at the races early in their deck chairs on the expansive lawns of the Echuca Racing Club.
Day on the green: Taryn and Ryan Bray with Tanya and Matt Nyhus under the umbrellas, of which there were many, at Echuca Cup day on Sunday.
Thorn among roses: Dean Corboy is the thorn between the roses that are Karen Latrou and Andrea Greene, with Craig Leggo and David Greene at the front.
Cup day spread: enjoying the catering of the race day umbrella package was Shirley Penny, Rosemary and John Hermans, and Phillip Penny.
WInning quaddie: About to take their place on the lawns of the Echuca Racing Club for the Cup day meeting on Sunday were Michael Haxby, Julie Govan, Jacki Reid and Suer Campbell.

From the Apple Isle: All the way from Tasmania, for the Cup, was Merrylin and Craig McIntyre, and Jan and Brent Saunders.

Punting pals: Meeting at the cup were Moama and Melbourne friends Denise Atkinson, Debbie Finemore and Craig Atkinson
Winner’s circle: Studying the form carefully were Andrew Cossar, Steve Naismith and Darren Pollock.
Frocked up: Sam Richards, Tanya Rosenquist, Taryn Dark, Ann-Marie Roberts, Renee Lennox and Gelle Ibsen, from Mornington Peninsula, were part of a large contingent in the party enclosure.
Annual event: Having missed the past couple of years Lee Schiler, Grant Austin and Joe Cunsolo were back at Echuca for the annual cup day trip. They travel regularly from Port Melbourne with their families for the event.
Champagne salute: Ian Arnie and Dean Moore (back) with Sarah Billinge, Lisa and Paula Fowler. The group is from Melbourne, Echuca and Pyalong.
Marquee moment: Meeting for the first time at the races were Al Watts and Melissa Freeman (back), with Catherine McKie, Kate Smith and Clare McKie.
