The Victorian side went undefeated throughout the tournament, claiming the championship with a 25 point win against South Australia.
Victoria opened their tournament against the hosts Tasmania at University of Tasmania Stadium, the states main AFL venue.
And much like an elite level club, Victoria dominated from the opening bounce.
Tasmania didn't score their opening goal until the final quarter, by which time the Vics had well and truly run away with the match, booting 17.8 in a 101 point win.
Long kicked his first goal of the tournament, named in the bests to open the carnival for his state.
The tournament continued against Western Australia, with the Sandgropers putting up a far better challenge.
The Vics could only manage the nine majors for the day, though it was still enough for a 45 point victory, with Long again named to the bests for the side.
In their third match of the competition, both locals came to the front.
Anderson found his best form of the competition, making his first appearance in the side's bests for the series, while Long booted three while being named best on ground.
Around their performances, Victoria booted 22 goals, claiming a 142 point win and extending their streak to three games.
In their final match before the grand final, Victoria locked down top place with a win against New South Wales, featuring Moama Anglican Grammar's Sam Edgar.
Edgar had been successful in his own right during the tournament, booting three goals in his five appearances.
But his side was no match for the Vics, who kicked 11 goals to NSW's two, claiming a 64 point win and advancing to the grand final.
In the grand final, Long again dominated, being named best on ground as his side as the Big V knocked off the Croweaters to the tune of 25 points, wrapping up the tournament and bringing the championship back to Victoria.
In the girls competition, MAGs student Olivia Taranto made five appearances in sky blue, but saw her side struggle for success, finishing the tournament fifth ahead of Queensland.
