Echuca Regional Health COVID vaccination bookings for children

Rooms have been decorated to create a child-friendly environment and bookings will be kept to a small number to help keep the clinic calm and inviting.

“Being vaccinated protects children and reduces transmission within families, schools and in the community,” Victorian Acting Premier Jacinta Allan said.

“This is especially true for people who are vulnerable such as grandparents.”

The recommended vaccination schedule for most children in this age group is two doses of Pfizer vaccine eight weeks apart.

Bookings are now open, starting on January 20, with spots opening up on a weekly basis.

The clinic also offers first, second and third vaccinations — for those who received their second dose four months prior.
