ECHUCA Swimming Club has been quietly going about its business in recent weeks and is producing strong results.
Before the Christmas break, swimmers were finally able to get back in the water for six weeks of training during term four.
They then followed it up with five sessions during the school holidays.
And it all came together on Saturday, when 12 swimmers attended the Deniliquin Swim Meet.
Despite having not been involved in competitive swimming for several months, between mid-March and mid-October last year, the club was able to record 29 personal best throughout the day.
The club said it is thrilled to see everyone back in the water and is looking forward to a much better 2021.
Term one is set to start on Monday, February 1.
Anyone who might be interested in joining can contact the club by sending an email to echucaswimclub@gmail.com
