Century 21 Real Estate has listed the property freehold which includes the façade of the building, the complete commercial kitchen and the café dining space currently tenanted by Café 3564.
“Previously the property was on the market with numerous parts, however this time it is the frontage and the café space,” Century 21 agent Beau Lyon said.
The Old Post Office building was completed in 1877 and has been maintained by various owners and tenants since then to preserve its historical features.
“The current owners have had it since 2016,” Mr Lyon said.
“If investors are looking for a long-term investment with a pretty good return, you can't go past this property.
“In a short space of time, if investors put money into the property to support the current tenants in their business, they will have it paid off in no time.”
The property is expected to sell for $1.1 million and is currently leased until 2031, making for a sound long-term return on investment.
The Old Post Office building also has stunning old world features such as the clocktower, large timepiece and classic architecture, as well as a public renown in the twin towns.
