Touted as a hub of agricultural machinery and technology innovation, the event exhibits the industry’s latest offerings, from hardware and plants through to fashion and pools.
A combine header simulator, which simulates crop harvesting, will be available to trial for visitors of all ages.
“Having such a realistic simulator of a current model Gleaner header for the public to operate will be a fantastic opportunity to enable all to experience taking off a harvest,” Elmore Events Centre executive manager Derek Shotton said.
Working dog presentations are also planned, with the Beloka Kelpie Stud on site each day of the program to showcase its training skills.
Family-friendly activities will be held alongside exhibitors, including camel rides, wool-shearing demonstrations and various farming displays.
The field days will be held from October 1 to 3, with gates open from 8.30am to 5pm at the Elmore Events Centre, 48 Rosaia Rd, Elmore.
Tickets, which are free for children under 12, are available online or can be purchased at the gate.
