Coinciding with the Kyabram RV Country Music Festival, the spring market showcases local businesses, offering a perfect opportunity for festive shopping.
The Kyabram Chamber of Commerce president Deanne Stagg knows there is always plenty on offer up the street on the day.
“In 2024, we changed up the kid’s activities with more family fun,” Mrs Stagg said.
“Quite a few different and varied outside traders come into town for the day.
“The service organisations set up down the street, so people can get information from them as well.
“There is a community element, there are the local traders and many food choices from different businesses.
“There is everything, for all ages, all walks of life.”
The Kyabram Spring Market offers Lucky Shopper voucher giveaways from participating businesses that are members of the Kyabram Chamber of Commerce.
The vouchers can only be used on the day of the Spring market and the next day, Saturday and will be randomly handed out at the market.
A highlight of every year is the Kyabram traders’ sidewalk sales, which this year continues all day Friday and into Saturday morning.
Mrs Stagg hopes for good weather, which will always add to the event’s success.
“It is a good day with all the people in town it adds to the atmosphere and that is a big part of having the spring market,” Mrs Stagg said.
“I don’t think there are many other things like the spring market around, where the street is closed and there is a market, that makes it a draw card.”
At the Kyabram Spring Market, you'll find over 40 general and community-based stallholders offering an eclectic mix of products.
Discover a treasure trove of local delights, from golden honey and unique artworks to lush plants, stylish homewares, sparkling jewellery, and luxurious handmade bath products.
Buskers bring the sounds of the Kyabram RV Country Music Festival to the street.
A bus runs all day between the Kyabram RV Country Music Festival and the spring market to help bring visitors to the main street.
Along with the Kyabram Spring Market, Kyabram Uniting Church holds an annual exhibition and sale of Cam Tomfon’s photographs, with proceeds going back to the church.
The exhibition is in the Uniting Church Hall on the corner of Unitt and Union St, Kyabram.
Mark your calendars for the Kyabram Spring Market, happening on Friday, November 8, 2024, from 9am to 4.30pm along Allan St, Kyabram.
Allan St will be closed from Albion to Church Streets for the day.
