One person has died and two seriously injured in a crash on the Murray Valley Hwy, Echuca.

Emergency services responded to the single-vehicle crash in Echuca on Sunday, January 14, just after 12.30pm.
It’s believed a vehicle travelling along the Murray Valley Hwy left the road and struck a tree just before the roundabout near Mt Terrick Rd.
There were three occupants in the car which subsequently caught fire.
A passenger has died at the scene.
A child has been flown to hospital in a critical condition.
The driver has been flown to hospital with serious injuries.
Traffic is being diverted around the crash scene, with drivers turning off the highway at Stratton Rd and down Mt Terrick Rd.
This incident and road closure is under the control of Victoria Police. The road will only reopen when investigations are complete and it’s safe to do so.
The exact circumstances surrounding the crash are yet to be determined at this stage and Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives will investigate.
