With more than 50 years of combined experience, the Brady Electrical Contracting team provides domestic, commercial and industrial electrical work, including fit-outs, lighting and design installations, and testing.
Following up on the 2022 success, Laura Brady was shocked to receive the honour over the other finalists.
“We’re so honoured, we’re chuffed,” she said.
“I actually didn’t prepare a speech because I looked at the line-up of businesses and thought, ‘yeah, we will not win’.
“I’m so gob-smacked.”
Like many other businesses, Brady Electrical Contracting has seen the impacts of inflation and the cost-of-living crisis first-hand.
Despite these trials, the company has been able to move forward thanks to the work of the team.
“This year in particular has been the most challenging,” Mrs Brady said.
“We’ve had builders gone broke, we’ve had to do redundancies, there’s been a mountain of things that have gone wrong.
“The one thing that we finally got right is the team and the culture.
“I’m just so grateful. Billy would be proud as punch.”
While managing director Billy Brady was unable to attend, Mrs Brady was happy to accept the award on his behalf and that of the whole business.
“I’m so honoured, because it was really unexpected,” she said.
