In recent weeks, the 15-year-old has been recognised for her strong performances with selection in several representative teams.
Glatte has been selected in the Bendigo District Cricket Association under 17 women’s side to compete at Junior Country Week starting on January 4.
She possesses a strong offside game which many people consider to be rare at a young age.
Glatte was also named West Bendigo’s women’s cricket champion for the 2019/20 season recently.
Her father Andrew said he was proud of his daughter's achievements so far.
“Arielle is doing very well,” Andrew said.
“But she knows she still has a lot of hard work ahead of her if she wants to get to the very top.”
And in the past 12 months, Glatte has taken big steps to realise her professional dreams, taking up the opportunity to play with Plenty Valley in Melbourne’s Premier League competition.
After playing several games at the back end of last season, she has now found herself moving up through the grades to the second side.
Her involvement in the team means she must travel to Melbourne twice a week with her parents.
“It does take up a lot of time, but it is worth it,” Andrew said.
“Arielle has had the opportunity to train with players who are playing in the Women’s Big Bash League which is a terrific first-hand experience.
“During winter she was involved in online training sessions along with her weekly sessions with Paul Colbert.
“I thought it was important the club maintained communication with the players during the off-season.”
Plenty Valley’s under 18s women’s side will play a competition at the end of January.
Glatte has also been selected in the Northern Rivers under 17s team.
