The fair will be held on Saturday from 8.30am until noon at the Soldiers’ Memorial Garden, Mathoura.
The event has been held for more than 70 years and for the past eight years, it has been in the care of the Mathoura Events Committee.
Committee president Pam Fitzpatrick said the event always received huge support from the community.
“The Mathoura Easter Fair will be an egg-cellent event,” she said.
“The community of Mathoura has always helped with the fair, whether they cook or donate, or organisations and businesses share our posts and supply items that are required for the event day.”

The fair is set to be a fun day out for family and friends and, best of all, there is no cost to attend or to take part in the day’s activities.
Attendees will be spoilt for choice with jumping castles, face painting, air brush tattoos, Easter egg hunts, egg and spoon races, sack races and a competition for the best decorated Easter bike.
The tug-o-war, a popular event at last year’s fair, will also make a return this year.
Beyond the activities, visitors can enjoy various market stalls, a cake stall and a barbecue with refreshments.
The Mathoura Football Netball Club will be selling duck tickets for the Easter Sunday Duck Race out at Picnic Point and the United Hospital Auxiliary will be running a raffle to help keep nurses and doctors in town.
The town raffle will also be drawn on the day, with a range of businesses in Mathoura and surrounds donating vouchers and items for prizes.
