Any interested patrons are being urged to get in quick because it’s on for one weekend only.
Co-directed by Tamara Cadd, Mark Thomson and Sean O’Brien, this Stephen Sondheim dark comedy promises to captivate audiences of all ages.
“We are so excited to bring this show to life in Echuca-Moama,” co-director Tamara Cadd said.
“Our team has poured their hearts and souls into this production. We can’t wait for audiences to experience the magic on stage.”
Into the Woods features 26 talented performers from Echuca-Moama, Kyabram, Rochester, Shepparton and surrounding areas.
“Each actor brings a unique flair to their respective roles, making for an unforgettable performance,” Mr Thomson said.
“This show is more than just a musical. It’s a journey that delves into the complexities of human desires and the repercussions of our actions.”
With rehearsals having started in early February, the cast and crew have already made astounding progress.
“Despite the vocal demands of the intricate score, the cast has risen to the occasion and has truly impressed us,” Mr Thomson said.
In addition to the cast, scores of volunteers have been working tirelessly behind the scenes.
“From costume, make-up, hair and set designers to the backstage crew and production team, their dedication ensures that our shows run seamlessly,” Mr Thomson said.
Proudly sponsored by the Riverine Herald, Into the Woods will run for a strictly limited season, with five shows performed at the Echuca Paramount from May 30 to June 2.
