Now it’s time to get your billycart sorted and enter.
Organisers have everything they need to run the event, except competitors.
Many people have indicated they will enter but have not officially done so.
“We can proudly say the event is fully funded, including trophies, prizes and running costs, all by local sponsors.” Corowa Lions Club president Stuart Whisson said.
“We have carts for hire and are happy to negotiate family rates for multiple age group entries.”
Mr Whisson was joined by Corowa Tourism chairperson Dave Walton who issued a message to potential entrants.
“The event is now up to you … if you have a child or grandchild or yourself, we need you to enter,” he said.
“We are overwhelmed with support from businesses and the town to get the Billy Cart races up and running again.”
