Artists from near and far are busy putting the finishing touches on their entries for our 2022 art prize. Entries close Wednesday, June 22 and the exhibition will launch Friday, July 22.

Judi Palmer was photographed at work in her Elmore studio this week. Judi is a foundation member of EMAI, since 2011, who is an active, valued current volunteer and member.
The current exhibition, Denatured is drawing to a close this weekend and the next exhibition for NAIDOC Week will be installed the following week.
The musical event instigated by Simon Marks was well supported and enjoyed. Feedback tells us 'we should have more like this'. Thanks to the small band of EMAI committee members who helped behind the scenes.
Thanks to Simplot for enabling a bus trip and morning tea for aged care residents on a recent Tuesday morning. Our visitors had a great time, and would like a repeat of the event.
This Saturday two photographic workshops will be held in the Foundry building, and an array of varied workshops are being planned for later on. Watch the social media sites for updates.
It will soon be time for expressions of interest to be invited for 2023 exhibitions. The calendar allows for three regular community exhibitions as well as individual, joint or group exhibitions.
Memberships are now due. Supporters may also offer their time on the volunteer roster.
