While cricket may be the summer sport of choice for some, the 12-year-old is focused on the sport she loves 365 days a year.
Whenever she is given the opportunity, Moyle has either a bat or ball in hand and it is a commitment which has paid dividends.
Moyle has just been selected to represent Victoria at the School Sport Australia under 12 championships to be held in Adelaide during November for the second consecutive year.
And her mum Wendy couldn't be prouder.
“Grace has done a lot of hard work to get here,” she said.
“As a parent you want to see all of your kids do well especially when they are doing something they love.”
November may not be the last of Moyle's state level commitments this coming summer either.
The year seven student has recently learnt she has been selected in the second phase of training for the Victorian under 15 team, which is being selected by Cricket Victoria.
Moyle's goal will now be to secure a place in the final team of 13, with 17 players remaining in the process.
At club level, Moyle has been invited to play for the Carlton-Brunswick Strikers once again.
She is hoping to play on a part-time basis given the travel she will have to undertake.
Moyle and her family would like to thank the Echuca Cricket Club and Christy O'Brien for their continued support.
