With Christmas fast approaching, Campaspe Shire Council will deck the shire with its annual Christmas decorations.
Three ‘Illumination Stations’ will be installed throughout the region, including the Gold Bauble in Echuca, the Big Teddy Bear in Rochester and the Big Santa in Kyabram.
Community members and visitors have a chance to be featured on council’s social media pages by posing with the installations and posting them online using the hashtags #ChristmasinCampaspe and #IlluminationStation.
The following events and installations will also be happening throughout the shire during the festive season:
Echuca
- Illumination Station at Hopwood Gardens featuring the Gold Bauble: December 2 to 30
- Giant gift in the Port of Echuca pop-up park
- Festival of the Christmas Trees at Echuca Moama Uniting Church: December 14 to 21 from 10am to 2pm
- Gingerbread house selfie-station at the pedestrian crossing in Hare St
- Christmas Toddler Rhyme Time at Echuca Library: December 16, 10.30am
