North End Bakehouse in Shepparton has recently been crowned the bakery with Australia’s best vanilla slice.

Its delectable creation captured the hearts and taste buds of the judges at the annual Victorian Baking Show held in Bendigo by the Baking Association of Australia.

On Wednesday, March 15 a sense of excitement and anticipation filled the Grant Crt address, as association president Andrew O’Hara arrived to present the award.

As customers continue to flock to the bakehouse to sample its award-winning vanilla slice and other mouth-watering creations, it’s clear that this bakery is a true gem in the Australian baking scene.
