The Timbercutters announced the news on their Facebook page last week saying the club was impressed with what Thomas had achieved after being appointed in October last year.
And for the man himself it was a no-brainer to put his hand up once again.
“The committee asked me if I would be interested in taking on the role again and I didn’t hesitate because I didn’t really have the opportunity to get started,” he said.
“I was able to do some work in pre-season, but I wasn’t able to get the full of grasp of the role before the season was cancelled.
“I was really enjoying the role and I’m looking forward to continuing it.”
Despite the disappointment of the Picola District League season not going ahead, Thomas said there were already good signs heading into 2021.
“Everyone is aiming for success and I’d like to think we are on the right path,” he said.
“I thought we had managed to put together a strong group of A and B-grade netballers who would have been tough to beat at their best.
“Now it’s about doing our best to try and keep them all together.
“We will start working towards next season in the coming months and hopefully we can put the foundations that we have already put in place.”
