His team is sitting fifth on the Picola District Football Netball League table, but has a tough assignment against Katamatite this weekend.
Jorgensen kicked four goals in the 119-point win of Picola on Saturday against Blighty, having hit the scoreboard a fortnight earlier when his team was a nine-point winner against Deni Rovers.
Players from four different clubs are four votes behind Jorgensen in the early stages of voting, including Echuca goalkicker Logan Prout.
