The river level has peaked below the minor flood mark of 4.5m - at 4.41m just prior to 9pm last night - and has begun to recede.
The latest Vic Emergency notification states that no further flooding is expected.
In other areas of Shepparton, the Goulburn River and Broken Creek are both visibly high - but both remain below the minor flooding markers.

Raftery Rd in Kialla is closed at Seven Creeks due to flooding.
Greater Shepparton City Council advises motorists seek alternate routes and to stay out of water that might be present on roads and paths.
Mitchell Rd in Kialla West is also closed between Archer Rd and the Goulburn Valley Hwy due to a fallen tree across the road.
Council advises that the removal is expected to take three hours.
Crime Watch Victoria is also reporting water over the road along Watt Rd, between the rail line and Mooroopna.
It is yet to be officially closed.

Minor flooding is possible in the Seven Creeks at Kialla West overnight on Sunday, June 25.
Minor flooding peaked at Euroa during Saturday afternoon and has now fallen below the minor flood level.
Minor flooding is possible downstream of Euroa at Kialla West as the flood peak moves downstream.
In the 24 hours to 9:00 am Sunday, and since 9:00 am Sunday, no significant rainfall has been recorded in the Seven Creeks catchment.
Further rainfall totals of around 10 mm are forecast for the remainder of Sunday into Monday with isolated higher totals possible.
As of 5.12pm on Sunday, the Seven Creeks at Kialla West has reached 4.40m, just below the minor flooding mark of 4.50m.
