The 2024 event is set to welcome over 250 vehicles, from cosy camper vans to spacious RVs, creating a vibrant community for a week of top-notch country tunes.
Kyabram RV Country Music president Allan Weeks has already booked more camping sites at the event than in the past.
“They are already rolling in,” he said.
“I’ve had phone calls from people from Queensland who are on their way and want to know when they can set up at the Showgrounds.
“I know we have people coming from Mildura, Colac, Wollongong.
“People come half a week before the event and help us put it all together.”
In 2024, the gates of the Kyabram showgrounds will open on Monday, November 4, so everyone can start setting up camp.
Onsite caravan and motorhome facilities will be available.
Rod and Rhonda Owen's wildly popular open mic sessions run Wednesday to Friday, 2pm to 6pm, inviting all music lovers to showcase their talents or cheer on new stars.
So, you don’t have to pack up and move to see the district, on Wednesday and Thursday, the ever-popular bus tours visit places of interest in the district.
Mr Weeks knows you will see things you have never seen before on the mystery bus trips.
“There are absolutely no hints of where we are going,” he said.
“It will be very interesting, something people have never seen before.”
Where the bus trips will visit is a secret that is known only to the organisers until the day, but they are always places of interest, fun, and excitement around the district.
The bus trips are a highlight for visitors to the Kyabram RV Country Music Festival, and many secure seats as early as possible so they can get a behind-the-scenes look at our much-loved town and area.
To encourage visitors to attend the Kyabram Spring Market on Friday, a free bus runs all day, every half an hour from the showgrounds to Kyabram’s main street.
In 2024, the artists’ lineup is the best of country music, including Lance Birrell, Owen Blundell, Don Costa, Peter Coad and the Coad Sisters, Runaway Dixie, Sandie Dodd, Robyn Gleeson, Gen and Trudy Hintz, Evan Platschinda and Justin Standley.
Backed up by the bands ‘On the Run’ and ‘Red Bak’.
On Sunday, a poet’s breakfast is held from 8am, followed by a country music marathon featuring all the weekend’s artists.
The festival reaches its crescendo with a spectacular grand finale at 6pm Sunday, uniting all artists on stage for an unforgettable closing performance.
If you are not camping on-site, you can turn up on Saturday and Sunday and purchase tickets at the gate.
The only thing is you will need to bring your own chair.
Bookings are required for a week's camping, caravan or RV spot.
The 2024 Kyabram RV Country Music Festival at the Kyabram Showgrounds, Allan St, Kyabram, runs from November 6 to 10, 2024.
