Gannawarra Shire Council partnered with local health services to host an International Women’s Day breakfast on Friday, March 7.

The free event at Morton Garner Pavilion, Cohuna Recreation Reserve, saw local women come together to celebrate each other’s achievements.
Cohuna District Hospital director of clinical services Wendy Lunghusen and Koondrook singer and songwriter Elise Drake were chosen to present as examples of women leading in their chosen careers.
Around 60 people attended the free event, which was emceed by Northern District Community Health chief executive Penny Wilkinson.
