Mrs Fulton, the nation’s baking goddess, was known for getting housewives into the kitchen to serve dishes out of the ordinary.
With her burnt orange crockpots and chunky stoneware, she taught generations of Australia with hundreds of recipes in The Margaret Fulton Cookbook and received an Order of Australia for reigning supreme on the cooking scene.
And now, she has been brought to the stage with Margaret Fulton the Musical.
Riverlinks venues manager Ken Cameron said the performance was a nostalgic reflection of a true Aussie legend, based on her bestselling autobiography.
“This delightful musical romp follows the journey of Margaret Fulton, from humble beginnings to super-stardom,” he said.
“The performance is a celebration of her life, full of charming insights into her story and experiences.”
The show will take place at Riverlink WestSide, Mooroopna, on Thursday, July 7, beginning at 7.30pm.
Tickets are available in person, online or through the Riverlinks box office on 5832 9511. For the full selection of shows and bookings, visit www.riverlinksvenues.com.au/whats-on
