The first coronavirus vaccine administered by GV Health was on March 10, 2021.
Doses have since been delivered across Shepparton, Cobram, Kyabram, Seymour and Kilmore, as well as on the two mobile vaccination hubs, Jabba the Bus and Maxine Vaccine.
The tally includes first, second and third jabs for all age groups.
GV Health medical lead for the the vaccination program Helen Roberts said everyone at the health service was “very proud” of reaching the milestone.
“It has been an incredible team effort — including by all the staff involved at our COVID-19 vaccination locations, and of course the community coming forward to get vaccinated,” Dr Roberts said.
The 200,000 doses represent just under half the doses administered across the local public health unit, with another 220,000 delivered in total by GPs, pharmacists and Rumbalara Aboriginal Co-operative.
GV Health continues to urge community members to receive COVID-19 vaccine boosters.
