Maureen was thanked for her contributions to that committee and as a volunteer on many other committees in Finley.
After the presentation, the committee was joined by Maureen’s husband Ian and members were able to spend a pleasant time reminiscing with her, in particular about these committees and also her considerable skill on the squash court.
Members of the Alliance are also excited about ‘Unlocking Hope No.10 – Understanding Dementia’ which is scheduled to take place at the Finley RS Club on Thursday, September 12,10.15am for 10.30am start.
Dr Alam Yousuff will again be giving a presentation on the holistic treatment of patients with dementia or memory loss.
Dr Alam attracted many Berrigan Shire residents to his last presentation with his approach to treatment taking into account all circumstances concerning patients.
An RSVP to (03) 5883 9600 would be appreciated but is not essential. Together, we can make a difference!
