The hostel is hosting a street stall this Friday, September 27 from 9am to 12pm outside of March’s IGA.
There will be homemade cakes, slices product, arts and crafts and raffle tickets for sale.

The Tocumwal Optimists are preparing for a very busy October.
The extremely popular annual garden cart raffle is being conducted during October.
A huge 115 litre dump from Bunnings Yarrawonga, with the contents donated by Optimist members, is the prize for the lucky winner.
Tickets ($5 each) may be purchased on Saturdays October 5, 19 and 26 outside March’s IGA between 9am and 1pm.
Interested members of the public are also invited to attend the Optimists’ major fundraiser for 2024 - a High Tea to be held on Thursday October 17 at 2pm.
The venue for the High Tea is the Murray Border Flying Club on Burma Rd (next door to The Drome Museum and Cafe).
A highlight of the afternoon will be guest speaker Kathy Mexted, a local pilot, author and photographer.
Entry is $50 which includes a home-cooked afternoon tea and complimentary drink on arrival.
Numbers are limited and tickets are selling fast, so get your tickets from Lynne George’s Antique Shop (cash only) as bookings and prepayment are essential.
Funds raised by the Tocumwal Optimists from the raffle and the High Tea will be distributed among local community organisations and other worthy causes.
The Optimists appreciate community support in these two ventures and may be contacted via secretary Marg Dixon (0419 438 887) or president Glenda Burns (0499 311 620).

The Tocumwal Ambulance Committee and Berrigan Shire Council invite the community to attend a public meeting this Thursday, at 6.30pm at the Tocumwal War Memorial Hall.
This meeting is to gauge interest in forming a local Community Emergency Response Team in Tocumwal.
NSW Ambulance representatives from Sydney will be in attendance to provide information and answer any questions the community may have regarding its operation.
This Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) is to be operated by trained volunteers who will undertake special training and be equipped by NSW Ambulance to improve health outcomes of patients in regional and rural locations in NSW.
Early clinical intervention can make a significant difference before paramedics arrive.
If this is of interest to you, head along to hear what they have to say to be informed. There will be a light supper afterwards.
Please RSVP your attendance for catering purposes to ambo4toc@berriganshire.nsw.gov.au or phone the Berrigan Shire Council on 5888 5100. Walk-ins are also very welcome.
