Mighty feat from small school

At the recent Deniliquin and District PSSA Cross Country event held at the Murray Valley Regional Park in Deniliquin, Mathoura’s team took to the track with impressive speed and determination.

In cold and muddy conditions, the nine-strong squad displayed not only impressive athleticism but also resolve and determination with eight students securing a top 10 finish, four finishing in second, third or fourth places, and two sisters, Matilda and Sophie Eddy crossing the line in the top spot as district age group champions.
