Led by Shiralee Judge, the 1974 van is en route from Mount Barker, South Australia, arriving in town on Wednesday, November 20.
In collaboration with the Rotary Club of Echuca-Moama, Miss Annabelle and her crew, filled with Ms Judge’s loved ones, will hold a ‘Pink in the Park’ event on Thursday, November 21.
From 4pm to 7pm, the community is welcome at Echuca Apex Hall for an afternoon of activities and family-friendly fun to support the McGrath Foundation.
After being diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer in May 2023, Ms Judge decided to realise her dream of owning a Kombi, purchasing and revamping Miss Annabelle in early 2024.
Now on the road, Miss Annabelle is passing through South Australia, Victoria, the ACT and NSW in the name of fundraising and awareness.
“The McGrath Foundation holds a special place in my heart, and by rallying behind it, we’re extending a beacon of hope to those facing similar battles,” Ms Judge said on the Miss Annabelle website.
“Each kilometre we travel and the funds we raise is a testament to our unwavering commitment to make a meaningful difference.
“Please join us on this heartfelt journey of solidarity, as we turn kilometres into tangible contributions toward brighter tomorrows for all touched by breast cancer.”
