On November 4 and 5, the free event invites visitors to explore Mansfield Shire on a self-guided tour, to discover some of the region’s best artists and an opportunity to enter their studios, see practical demonstrations, and purchase artwork directly from the maker.
“It’s a chance to connect with the art, the artists, and the local creative community,” MOST founder Wendy Jagger said.
“What sets MOST apart is the opportunity for art lovers to engage directly with the artists, witness their creative processes up close and personal, and discover the stories behind each artwork.”
Spanning across the picturesque landscapes of Jamieson to Tolmie, Bonnie Doon to Merrijig, Goughs Bay, and Mansfield, this year’s MOST promises an even richer artistic tapestry.
For a more convenient and enjoyable experience, MOST organisers have created a Google Map to help visitors plan their routes and itineraries.
Ms Jagger said the annual event has become a highlight for art enthusiasts and visitors looking to explore the thriving art scene in north-east Victoria.
“Whether you’re a seasoned art connoisseur or simply looking for a unique weekend experience, MOST welcomes you to tour at your own pace, savouring the diverse artistic expressions that Mansfield and its surroundings have to offer,” she said.
Mansfield Open Studio Trail is on November 4 and 5, from 10.30am to 4.30pm.
When registering for the event, visitors will go in the draw for a chance to win $500 MOST dollars, redeemable at any of the participating studios over the weekend.
