New fees for the Port of Echuca and Echuca Paddlesteamers — including an increase to ticket prices for river cruises — have been adopted at Wednesday night’s extraordinary council meeting.

Cruise fees, charter of the Pevensey and PS Alexander Arbuthnot, guided tours, venue and wharf hire have all had an increase in cost for use.
The largest increase came for those wanting to charter the Alexander Arbuthnot for five or more days, with the daily hire rate going up 25 per cent from $400 to $500 per day.
The motion was carried unanimously, with no comment from any council members.
