At the recent meeting of the Echuca-Moama Twin Rivers Probus Club, Trevor Rickard was duly elected president of the club for the coming year.
Trevor held this position in 2023/24 and did an outstanding job, so the club was delighted when Trevor agreed to take on the role once more, taking over from past president Liz Baxter.
In accepting the president’s chain of office, Trevor thanked members for their endorsement and emphasised the importance for all Probus clubs in the immediate area to support one another.
He encouraged members to join in the many activities that the club has to offer, but more importantly, to have fun.
Trevor also challenged our club’s members to consider the question “can I do more?”.
Other appointments include: Linda Ormando as vice-president, Jenny Haines as secretary, Ann Rickard as treasurer, Pam Bailey for activities, Helen Salter and Margaret Orso as membership officers, Pat Squire for guest speakers, Denise Ward as almoner, Elizabeth Baxter as auditor, Margaret Kennedy as historian and Helen Taverner as publicity officers.
