One person received minor burns in a grass fire at Cemetery Bend, Toolamba, on Friday, March 4.
CFA District 22 commander Pete Dedman said CFA received a call at 10.39am and responded to the scene with three firefighting tankers.
It was contained a short time later by Forest Fire Management Victoria and CFA crews, he said.
The grass fire was reported to be about 100m by 30m in size, he said.
A Forest Fire Management Victoria spokesperson said three fire vehicles attended the scene, along with eight firefighters.
Mr Dedman said the fire was brought under control shortly thereafter on Friday.
He said a member of the public received minor burns while attempting to assist crews.
An Ambulance Victoria spokesperson said an ambulance attended the scene at 11.20am.
Victoria Police officers were also on scene.
