A member from Highway Patrol was baffled when he recognised a speeding vehicle travelling at 123km/h on the Hume Fwy on Friday, July 15, as the 24-year-old male driver had been detected by police travelling at 118km/h on the Midland Hwy on Tuesday, July 12.
Collision in Parkview Parade
About 9.30pm on July 16, a driver has lost control of a blue Ford Falcon along Parkview Parade in Benalla. The vehicle caused damaged to a property and the driver of the vehicle left the scene without exchanging details. Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information or CCTV to contact Benalla Police Station or Crime Stoppers.

Police are appealing for witnesses after a blue utility reversed into a parked black Holden Monaro in Bridge St on the morning of Monday, June 20, causing considerable damage to the front of the Monaro. Anyone with the information is urged to contact Benalla Police Station or Crime Stoppers.
Theft from motor vehicle
Police are investigating a theft of a specialised tool for plumbers from a vehicle between July 12 and 13. Police are urging for anyone with information to contact Benalla Police Station or Crime Stoppers.
