There have been two incidents where goods were stolen in Echuca in the past week.
On October 16, a car parked overnight on Cochrane St had valuables taken from it, and between October 13 and 15, power tools were taken from a property on Mundarra Rd.
The estimated value of the goods is about $8000.
Senior Sergeant Damian Keegan reminded the public to report any suspicious behaviour to Echuca Police Station on 5483 1500 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
Police operation for October
During October, there will be more Highway Patrol Officers working in the Campaspe Shire.
Officers will focus on drivers not wearing seatbelts and using mobile phones.
Echuca Senior Sergeant Damian Keegan said that in Campaspe, police still saw many people using phones while driving and not wearing seatbelts.
Road users who willingly break the law will receive a hefty fine and demerit points.
