As border closures continue into its second week, a change in guard has occurred with police being relieved in Tocumwal on Monday.

It was the last shift at the Tocumwal bridge station for a group of police officers from Parramatta, Nepean, and Blue Mountains Police Area Command centres.
The Parramatta Police Area Command posted a thank you to Tocumwal residents on its Facebook page.
“We are so grateful for the support from the immensely friendly locals at Tocumwal,” the post read.
“We wish you all the very best and we are proud to have been able to serve your community. Stay Covid-Safe everyone.”
New crews have taken over the border control station from Monday night.
