The Cohuna Bridge to Bridge is returning for its 31st year on Sunday, March 2 for a day of running, walking and cycling.
The event raises funds for Cohuna District Hospital, and has generated over $55,000 for medical equipment in the last four years alone.
Seven events will be held across the day, starting with the half-marathon, which organiser Steven Fehring said was popular this year.
“The numbers are looking very promising. We’ve got a lot more registered for the half-marathon than we have previously — we’re up to over 50 people for that,” he said.
Around 300 people are registered in total for all events, which include a trail run through Gunbower Forest, a fun run and walk, cycling races, and a kids' event.
Mr Fehring said he also noticed an increase in registrations from up the river, with around 15 people from the Echuca Moama Run Club entering various events.
Held at Apex Park on Cohuna Island Rd, and the first event kicks off at 8am and concludes with presentations at 11am.
