Ever wondered what to do with that can of pasta sauce that has sat for months at the back of your pantry?
This month, the Cobram Community House is teaming up with Moira FoodShare to collect as many pasta sauces and tinned soups as possible.
While they might be some of the more popular items on the shop shelf, tinned soup and pasta sauces have recently become difficult to come by for Moira FoodShare.
“We know these are very popular items,” Cobram Community House manager Christine Osborne said.
“And we know FoodShare is experiencing a real shortage of them.”
The pasta sauces and tinned soups can be of any variety — provided they haven’t passed an expiry date.
“If lots of people can donate one item, that would make a huge difference.”
You can donate your spare tinned soups and pasta sauces by dropping them off at the reception of the Cobram Community House at 43-45 Punt Rd, Cobram, during opening hours.
