The theme of the event was jewellery day, with members asked to bring their oldest or most precious piece of jewellery along.
They were then asked to share the story behind their pieces, with plenty of tales told.
The birthdays of two members - Phyl Brown and Dot Mathewson who are 97 and 95 respectively - were also celebrated.
As part of this, the Sing Australia group were in attendance and beautifully performed.
They delivered a collection of songs by The Carpenters, and finished with Susan Boyle’s ‘Climb Every Mountain’.
The group also had a special international visitor with group coordinator Meyerene Geldenhuys’ daughter Elsabe visiting from South Africa for the week.
