Hosted by the Greater Shepparton City Council and part of Get Mooving Greater Shepparton, the stroll aims to get more residents active and ‘mooving’.
“Council is extremely excited to see the return of the Twilight Stroll,” Greater Shepparton City Council Mayor Kim O’Keeffe said.
“It is a fantastic community event, which encourages people to get outside, get active and enjoy the picturesque bushland in our backyard.”
Participants can meet up at 5.30pm at the Chinaman’s Garden, Mooroopna, or the bridge behind Aquamoves, and make their way to KidsTown.
A scavenger hunt developed by RiverConnect will provide entertainment on the way.
When participants arrive at KidsTown, they’ll be greeted with a range of activities including mini train rides, inflatable soccer darts, a family games area and a barbecue dinner.
No need to worry about walking all the way back, either; a shuttle bus will be stationed at KidsTown to take families back to their cars.
The Twilight Stroll kicks off at 5.30pm and will run until 8pm.
