The Wednesday competition will get underway on October 12 from 6pm, and will run for 10 weeks.
The final round will be held December 14.
Registrations must be in by October 5 so that grading of players and selection of teams can be completed.
Before the comp begins, club members will be putting in the hard yards manning the souvlaki stall at the Deni Ute Muster this weekend.
“The souvlaki stand has operated at the Muster each year since 1999, and club members are invited to volunteer to be cooking and serving staff at this two day event,” executive member Clive Gow said.
“The stall provides a welcome boost to the tennis club finances, and the Club is very thankful to the Ute Muster Committee for making DLTC welcome.”
The proceeds from the stand were missing in the financial figures presented at the recent AGM, due to the event being cancelled by COVID-19 in 2020 and 2021.
According to reports presented at the recent AGM,
The club made a cash surplus of $6,231, before depreciation.
This result was greatly assisted by a successful Western Riverina Open Championships held over four days of Easter.
A net profit of about $15,000 was recorded.
At the AGM, Nick Metcalfe was installed as president.
He is joined by Harley Moore, Mark Ritchie and Gow as the executive.
Committee members elected were Maureen Fitzmaurice, Jane Frazer, John Henderson, Jon Gatacre, Mary James, Leo Barry, Michael Williams and Darcy Biggs.
