With rides, showbags, sideshow alley, livestock, arts and crafts and a mesmerising firework demonstration there is something for the whole family to enjoy.
Echuca Moama & Districts Agricultural Show Society has been working round the clock to make sure this year will be something special.
Show committee organiser Donna Katzer has invited everyone to come down to the showgrounds on Simmie St and enjoy a fantastic community event.
“We’ve got some great plans for this year’s show, including our fireworks display which will be a real good one,” she said.
“We’ve been meeting almost every week since the day we packed up the last show.”
Returning this year will be the livestock and agriculture events, showcasing Holstein cattle, horses and poultry.
“We will have a good variety of cattle, poultry and around 300 horses,” Donna said.
“We also want to let people know there will be more rides and games than before.”
Donna said the committee had also resolved the challenges of clashing dates and the availability of more rides and games following the last-minute hiccup in 2018.
She said everyone – regardless of age – would be impressed by the line-up the committee has locked in for 2019.
“We got burnt by the showmen’s guild pulling out in 2018, it was bad timing as we clashed with other bigger events in Dandenong and Ballarat.
“We have spoken with the guild and they have assured us a large range of amusements this year.”
If dodgem cars and stomach-dropping rides aren’t for you, you can always slow down by taking a free horse carriage ride around the grounds or wander through the arts and craft on display in the pavilion.
Entry is $10 for an adult, $5 for children under 16 and children under five are free. Family weekend passes are available for $30.
The gates open from 9am-late on Saturday and 9am-3pm on Sunday.
