Last week, about 80 people gathered for the launch of the container deposit scheme at FOOTT depot in Shepparton.
FOOTT, in collaboration with Network Operator Visy, started servicing the northern regions on Wednesday.
Health board positions available
Victorian Health Minister Mary-Anne Thomas has called for applications for part-time director positions at NCN Health.
The roles start on July 1, 2024, for two to three years.
NCN Health was created from the voluntary amalgamation of the Nathalia, Cobram and Numurkah health services in 2019.
It provides a range of health services in Moira Shire.
Applications close at midnight on Sunday, November 19.
Small to medium-sized manufacturing businesses needing a cash injection to upgrade improve technology and productivity can apply for grants of up to $250,000.
Grants through the Victorian Government’s Made in Victoria – Manufacturing Growth Program are now available.
Jobs and Industry Minister Natalie Hutchins said businesses could use the grants to adopt new technology, improve productivity and competitiveness in local and global supply chains, upskill workers and create new jobs.
