But after two-and-a-half weeks of blind auditions came to an end on Tuesday, Ms Walker was back on our screens and ready to sing for a chance to progress to the next stage of the competition.
Filmed the day after the blinds, Keith was forced to cut his 14 artists down to five, who would then go on to the Knockout round.
Fronting his group, Keith said he couldn't be happier with the team he put together.
“What I love about this group is the musical diversity I was hoping to get, and you guys fully represent that,” he said.
With Keith having split his group into themes, Ms Walker was among those classified as "True Blue Aussies" alongside Lozz Benson, Darren Constable, Dan Eade and Brad Myers.
Before singing her version of Miley Cyrus and Mark Ronson's Nothing Breaks Like a Heart, Ms Walker then came out with a ready-made iconic one-liner.
“I'm as about as nervous as a cat with a long tail in a room full of rocking chairs,” she said.
Ultimately it was Lozz Benson who went on to win one of the five spots, with Ms Walker's time on the show coming to an end.
Following the episode, Ms Walker shared a post to Facebook, stating: "And that’s a wrap.
“I couldn’t be more proud. I have been wanting this experience for a long time, those who know, know.
“It has been so exciting bringing you all along this journey with me and I am so humbled by all of your beautiful messages and support.
“Being able to sing an absolute gem of a song for my blind audition and then meeting the most talented people along the way is something I will never forget.
“So you all know what to do now . . . don’t leave my side just yet, this is only the beginning.
“If you can dream it, you can do.”
Ms Walker also thanked all four judges, Keith Urban, Jess Mauboy, Rita Ora and Guy Sebastian, for turning their chairs during her blind audition.
