Two women flown to hospital in Melbourne after a crash at Shepparton East on Friday, October 20, remain in hospital.
On Monday afternoon, one woman, 32, was in a stable condition at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, while a Shepparton woman, 26, was also in a stable condition at The Alfred hospital.
The two women were drivers in two separate vehicles involved in a three-vehicle crash at the intersection of Old Dookie Rd and Boundary Rd that claimed the life of five-year-old Savannah Kemp.
The 32-year-old was also pregnant and her unborn baby died as a result of the crash.
The driver of a third vehicle, a Shepparton man, 33, and his passenger, a Katandra West man, 22, were taken to Goulburn Valley Health but have since been discharged.
In the meantime, the driver of a ute involved in a crash with a trailer being towed by another vehicle later on the Midland Hwy at Stanhope the same day also remains in hospital in Melbourne.
The 55-year-old from the Ballarat suburb of Delacombe was initially trapped in his ute and had to be freed by emergency services workers before being flown to hospital by air ambulance helicopter.
A hospital spokesperson on Monday afternoon said the man remained in a serious but stable condition in The Alfred hospital.
