The works, on Williams Rd between Archer St and Lockwood Rd, will rectify and renew damaged and defective concrete kerb and channel and increase the functionality of the stormwater system.
Starting on Monday, April 28, the works are expected to take five weeks to complete, weather permitting, during the hours of 7am and 5pm, with local contractor Cleaves Earthmoving and Drainage conducting the works.
To ensure the safety of pedestrians, motorists and contractors working on site, Greater Shepparton City Council said lane closures would be in place for the duration of the works.
There will be no kerb-side parking available throughout the works to give construction vehicles the required access to complete the works as quickly and safely as possible.
From Monday, April 28 to Friday, May 9, Williams Rd will be closed westbound between Lockwood Rd and Archer St. Traffic will only be able to travel east, entering from Archer St and exiting at Lockwood Rd.
