Here’s some events to look out for.
The Great Moooving Art Roundup
The Greater Shepparton Visitor Information Centre has launched its school holiday scavenger hunt, The Great Moooving Art Roundup, which is to run between September 17 and October 2.
The Moooving Art cows have been moved from their usual locations and have been scattered around Greater Shepparton.
They can be found near playgrounds and outdoor areas.
Participants will have to correctly answer some tricky questions about each cow in order to make sure they have the right one.
Eight correct answers will put the participant into a draw to win prizes including a Nintendo Switch, Lego sets and a Moooving Art Cow activity set.
Entry forms are available from the visitor centre located at the SAM building, or online.
Activities in the Park – Spring School Holiday Fun
The program provides free and low-cost activities all throughout the Greater Shepparton municipality to get people out and active in the community.
This year, Activities in the Park will run for 12 months of the year. A new program will be released at the change of each season and Greater Shepparton City Council is excited to be launching the Spring Program.
All sessions are delivered by local facilitators including sports clubs, businesses, community groups and state sporting associations.
Some of the free activities on offer over the upcoming fortnight in Shepparton include a ‘Learn to Shred’ session on Wednesday, September 21, ‘Breakfast with the Birds’ the following day and Mini Pot Plant Decorating at KidsTown on the 28th.
