The couple's McKinlay St property was broken into about 2am on Saturday, April 3, with a number of items stolen.
It follows an aggravated burglary at the couple's home just over a week earlier, on March 24.
The man and woman awoke about 3am to find an intruder inside, who then fled once confronted.
The couple was not home during the second break-in.
Detective Sergeant Barry Gray of Campaspe criminal investigation unit said police were looking into whether the burglaries were committed by the same person.
‘‘There is a strong assumption they’re linked considering the short period of time between them,’’ he said.
‘‘We’re following up a number of leads.’’
Det Sgt Gray said police were also reviewing CCTV footage from the street, which is near the Annesley St intersection.
‘‘There are a lot of cameras in the area so we’re canvassing the streets and collating footage from different businesses,’’ he said.
‘‘Hopefully this will give us some strong leads.’’
Det Sgt Gray is also appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
‘‘We would be keen to speak to anyone who may have seen something suspicious on those nights,’’ he said.
