A boy has been charged in relation to a burglary at Echuca Bowls Club on Sunday, May 22.
Echuca Acting Senior Sergeant Stuart Poulton said four people allegedly forced entry into the club about 4.45am, damaging the door and inside the premises.
They then allegedly stole a small quantity of alcohol and cash before leaving on foot, he said.
A 15-year-old Echuca boy has been charged with theft, burglary and attempted burglary in relation to the break-in at the bowls club, along with other alleged incidents, Sen Sgt Poulton said.
He said the boy had also been charged in relation to a number of burglaries and thefts at businesses at the Port of Echuca on April 30, Echuca West on May 3 and the Echuca CBD on May 25.
He was bailed to appear at a children’s court at a later date.
Another Echuca boy was also allegedly involved in a series of burglaries and thefts in the Port of Echuca area on April 30.
The 16-year-old was arrested and charged with burglary, attempted burglary and theft on Wednesday, May 4, Sen Sgt Poulton said.
He was bailed to appear at a children’s court at a later date.
