Well now is the perfect time.
Echuca United is looking for players to join its junior ranks in the under 10s, 12s and youth girls (14 to 18-years-old) teams.
With restrictions surrounding junior sport having eased in recent weeks, the start of several competitions appears to be only weeks away.
“Whether you have played before or not, come down to training and have a kick,” United’s head of junior football Daryl Poole said.
“Our youth girls team currently has 16 players, but we’d like to have a few more because there is always the case of players missing some games.
“The club has a great coaching staff who are willing to teach you all the skills of the game.
“It’s a great opportunity go get out and have some exercise while making some new friends along the way.”
The youth girls team have moved their training night from Wednesday to Thursday, starting at 5pm.
Meanwhile the under 10s and 12s train on Monday night from 5pm.
All sessions take place at Echuca South Recreation Reserve.
